How-to Buy/Sell/Trade Golf Equipment

If you would like to buy, sell or even swap or trade some of your own golf equipment you have come to the right place.

Just follows these easy steps –

For Buyers of Golf Eqiupment:

Simply click on the ‘Golf Shop’ tab in the top menu, browse the site and when you find the items you want click the ‘Add to cart’ button.

When you have the equipment you want, click ‘View cart’ or the ‘Cart’ tab in the top menu. Here you will see the cart total and final total after shipping.

Use the ‘Ask a Question’ tab within each listing to contact the seller and confirm all details – particularly shipping.

To purchase with credit card click ‘Proceed to checkout’

If you have a PayPal account click on the ‘PayPal’ buttons.

For Sellers of Golf Equipment:

  1. You need a valid Paypal account to complete the registration process. You will need to be aged over 18 to open a Paypal account. Click Here for Paypal
  2. Before you can list a product to sell you will need to register with golfsalecentral.com.au Click Here to register
  3. If you want to see a quick video on how to register and set-up your account then Click Here **Note: Video was pre-‘messages tab’ so read the note below about the ‘Store’ tab on how to enable messages.
  4. Once you have registered and are logged in you will be automatically directed to your ‘Dashboard’ page where you will find links to:

Dashboard – Shows all payments (listed as commissions), sales and order data. Also has a link in blue to ‘Add product’. For a quick video demo on how-to add your own golf equipment Click Here

Products – Has links in blue to ‘Add product’. Also lists all golf items you have up for sale. For a quick video demo on how-to add your own golf equipment Click Here

Orders – Lists all orders via a specified date range.

Commissions – Shows all payments you have received/are due within a specified date range.

Settings – Sub-menu below:

  • Store – If you would like to create a store OR have a physical store you would like to direct people to, details can be filled out here.
  • **Also in the ‘Store’ tab make sure you select the Messages ‘Enabled’ button to allow your customer to ask questions on your listings**
  • Shipping – Allows you to use/turn-off admin shipping tables or set-up your own shipping rates. For a quick video demo on how-to setup your own shipping tables Click Here
  • Payment – *VERY IMPORTANT* – This is where you must list your PayPal address as per the site terms and conditions to ensure that you can receive and send payments. Please note: No financial information is kept by Golf Sale Central as all transactions are routed through PayPal.
  • Branding – Where you can add icon’s or banners for your store.
  • Social – where you can add links to your social media.
  • SEO – titles and labels that help your items get listed in search engines and social media sites.

Ratings – Your ratings based on your customer experience.

Commission – defaults back to ‘Commissions’ tab

Messages – Displays any messages/questions from customers for your attention.

View Store – Link to your store if you choose to setup one.

For Swapping or Trading of Golf Equipment:

Use the ‘Ask a Question’ tab next to the listing to make contact about a product.

Delivery and Shipping Hints

Golfsalecentral.com.au admin set shipping tables and rates are an average value for size and weight of the equivalent price range listed.

Prices are based on delivery from Melbourne, Victoria.

There is also an Admin table for ‘Free Shipping’ if you prefer to sell golf gear that way. ‘Free Shipping’ is often used as an enticement to get more buyers.

Sellers/Vendors can use the default admin values set or create their own shipping tables in the ‘Dashboard’ page (as detailed above) or from the ‘Add Product’ page.
